Tompkins County

Monday, February 12

The Health and Human Services Committee of the Tompkins County Legislature meets at 4 p.m. at 121 E. Court St. in the legislature chambers. The agenda includes discussions on Section 8 and DSS temporary assistance housing in Tompkins County.

Tuesday, February 13

The Budget, Capital, and Personnel committee meets at 4 p.m. at 121 E. Court St. On the agenda are resolutions to increase budget for PROS and Care management positions at county Mental Health; continuing funding for a special advisor at the Office of Human Rights; and accepting a 2017 homeland security grant for the Sheriff’s Office.

Thursday, February 15

The Facilities and Infrastructure committee meets at 3 p.m. in legislature chambers at 121 E. Court St. On the agenda are budget adjustments for 2017 in the department of recycling and material management, and a funding agreement with NYSDOT for intersection improvements at Ellis Hollow Road and East Hill Plaza.

Tompkins County Industrial Development Agency

City of Ithaca

Tuesday, February 13

Public hearings on landmark designation for The No. 9 Fire Station (The Nines); for a two-story, 6-bedroom residence at 310 W. State St.; and replacing sidewalk alongside DeWitt Park are on the agenda for the Ithaca Landmarks Preservation Commission this week. The ILPC meets at 5:30 p.m. on the third floor of City Hall.

Wednesday, February 14

The Planning and Economic Development committee, consisting of Common Council members, will meet at 6 p.m. in Common Council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 108 E. Green St. On the agenda is a public hearing on a $90,000 loan to TCAction for unanticipated Amici House project costs; an update on the Chain Works Planned Unit Development; and the 2017 Planning Department report. The Planning & Development Board Project Review committee meets at 10:30 a.m. on the third floor of City Hall. On the agenda is a look at the Stewart Park inclusive playground for environmental significance; and project review for townhouses at 119-125 College Ave.

The Special Joint Committee on the Ithaca Area Wastewater Treatment Facility meets at 12:30 p.m. at 525 Third St. On the agenda are reports on finances from city controller Steve Thayer and a report on operations from CJ Kilgore, chief plant operator.

Town of Caroline

Wednesday, February 14

The Caroline Town Board meets at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall, 2670 Slaterville Road for its monthly business meeting. On the agenda is an information session on draft versions of new Subdivision and Site Plan Review laws; resolution to award a contract for Buffalo Road streambank stabilization; and supporting a DEC acquisition of lands forming a corridor between Danby and Shindagan Hollow state forests.

Town of Danby

Monday, February 12

The Danby Town Board meets at 7 p.m. at the Danby Town Hall, 1830 Danby Road. The agenda includes the appointment of CJ Randall as fair housing officer, an update on broadband initiatives, and a consideration of re-zoning at 129 Hornbrook Road.

Thursday, February 15

The Danby Planning Board meets at at 7 p.m. at the Danby Town Hall, 1830 Danby Road. Check with the Town Hall for the agenda.

Town of Dryden

Wednesday, February 14

The Dryden Ag Advisory committee meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 93 E. Main St.

Thursday, February 15

The Dryden Town Board will meet at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall, 93 E. Main St.

Town of Enfield

Wednesday, February 14

The Enfield Town Board meets at 6:30 p.m. at the Enfield Community Building, 182 Enfield Main Road. No agenda is posted yet, but when it is, it can be found here.

Town of Groton

Tuesday, February 13

The Groton Town Board meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 103 Conger Boulevard. On the agenda is appointing this year’s Board of Assessment Review and setting Assessment Review Day for May 17 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Town of Ithaca

Monday, February 12

The Ithaca Town Board meets at 5:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 215 N. Tioga St. A public hearing is on the agenda regarding a local law to contribute to the city for Cass and Stewart parks, along with discussion of a refund for water and sewer charges for Cornell Maplewood apartments.

Thursday, February 15

The Town Planning committee meets at 1 p.m. at 215 N. Tioga St. Discussion of the Chain Works project is on the agenda. 

Town of Lansing

Monday, February 12

The Lansing Planning Board meets at 6:30 p.m. at 29 Auburn Road, in a joint meeting with the Town Board, to review the Comprehensive Plan draft.

Wednesday, February 14

The Lansing municipal water and sewer advisory board meets at 1 p.m. at the Town Hall, 29 Auburn Road.

Town of Newfield

No meetings scheduled.

Town of Ulysses

Tuesday, February 13

The Town Board of Ulysses  meets at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall, 10 Elm St. On the agenda is scheduling a public hearing on new zoning laws. 

Thursday, February 15

There is a special Town Board meeting scheduled at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall, 10 Elm St., to discuss a potential water district along Falls Road, with input from MRB Engineers. 

The Sustainability and Conservation Advisory committee meets at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall, 10 Elm St.

Village of Cayuga Heights

Village of Dryden

Village of Lansing

Monday, February 12

The Lansing Planning Board meets at 7 p.m. at the Village Office, 2405 N. Triphammer Road. On the agenda is informal consideration of a proposal to put single-family townhomes at a parcel by Entrance Drive; a consideration of a new proposal for the Lansing Meadows planned unit development area; and considering renewal of a special permit to expand parking at 1638 East Shore Drive.

Village of Trumansburg

Monday, February 12

The Trumansburg Village Board of Trustees meets at 7 p.m. at the Village Hall, 56 E. Main St. for a working budget on the 2019 budget. 

Dryden Central School District

The Dryden Central Board of Education meets at 6:30 p.m. at the middle/high school library, along Route 38.

Ithaca City School District

Tuesday, February 13

The Ithaca Board of Education meets at 400 Lake Street, with the public portion of the meeting starting at 7 p.m. New policies on student health services, immunizations, and communicable diseases are on the agenda for first reading.

Lansing Central School District

Monday, February 12

The Lansing Central Board of Education meets at 7 p.m. at the ES Teacher Center, with approval for design and pre-planning fees to Tetra Tech for a 2020 capital project on the agenda.

Newfield Central School District

Thursday, February 15

The Newfield school board meets at 6:30 p.m. with regular reports from administrators on the agenda.

Trumansburg Central School District

Monday, February 12

The Trumansburg school board meets at Charles A. Dickerson High School at 6 p.m. The full agenda is here.
